AVpod is composed of four main elements: Chat, the Messenger, the System Tray and Name Decoration. Review these brief descriptions of each before getting started.
Chat
To chat, you will need to enter a lobby by selecting the lobby of your choice at the logon screen. You can also select different lobbies to join once inside the client by clicking the down arrow above the chat area.
To join a room you can single click on the room of your choice in the chat room display area and click 'Join' (You can also simply double click the room of your choice). Once you are in the room you will notice that you can toggle back and forth between the room and the lobby (However, when in a room you can not type in the lobby). To chat, place your cursor in the black box at the bottom of the screen, type your message, and press 'enter'. Your message will appear next to your name in the chat area.
To voice chat, you must be in a room. Click and hold the green 'TALK' button with your mouse and speak into the microphone.
To exit a room click the 'Close' button located below the Chat Text Entry Area (Clicking the 'Close' button in the lobby will close the program).
